Lids and caps
A telescoping lid fits down over the outside of the box walls. It sheds water better than a flat cap, protects the top edge — the part that gets crushed first — and gives you a flat surface to stack on. A pallet cap is a simpler flat top sheet: cheaper, adequate indoors, useless in rain.
Colour-coded lids are an underrated operations tool. Distribution centres running returns triage frequently use three lid colours for three lanes, which removes an entire category of scanning and labelling from the floor.

Corner boards and banding
Banding a box without corner boards concentrates the entire strap tension on four corners — the exact structural element you most need to protect. An L-profile corner board spreads that load across several inches of wall. They cost very little and they measurably extend box life, which makes them one of the better returns available in a reusable program.
Label pockets and marking
For closed-loop pools, some form of persistent marking matters — it is how you know whether a box is on its second trip or its fifth. Adhesive label pockets are the cheap version; stencilling is the durable one. We will set up either as part of a program.

Do lids fit any box?
Lids are sized to the box footprint. A 48×40 lid fits a 48×40 box regardless of wall height. Odd footprints need matching lids, which we can fabricate.
What liner gauge do I need?
2-mil for dust, 4-mil for most industrial powders and resin, 6-mil for sharp material or long transit. When in doubt go one gauge up — film is cheap compared to a spill.
Can a used box carry food with a liner?
In most audit regimes yes, provided the liner is FDA-compliant and product never contacts the fiber. Confirm against your own requirements — we will supply the liner spec sheet.
Do you stock these in Houston?
