Gaylord boxes in Houston
Our yard sits on E Richey Rd just off I-45 in north Houston, which means most of Harris County is a same-day round trip for a bobtail and a pallet jack.

Why Houston looks the way it does
Houston is the densest bulk-corrugated market in Texas. Between the ship channel, the resin corridor and the distribution belt along Beltway 8, more gaylord boxes are filled here in a week than in most states in a month.
What we move here
- Graded used gaylord boxes in Grades A, B and C, knocked down and banded.
- New made-to-spec boxes where the application is regulated or customer-facing.
- Buyback of your empties, sorted or mixed, credited against freight.
- Baled OCC collection with certified weights and same-day tickets.
- Pallets, lids, liners and accessories on the same delivery.
Routes and corridors
We plan Houston work around I-45 North, Beltway 8, US-59 / I-69, Ship Channel, Hardy Toll Road. Telling us your dock hours and gate procedure on the quote form saves a wasted trip more often than you would think — particularly anywhere with a security gate and a trailer queue.

What a load to Houston looks like
Knocked-down counts come from our own loading records. Assembled delivery caps at 26 pallet positions regardless of size, which is why we ship flat by default.

Planning a Houston delivery
The things that actually move the price on this lane, in the order they matter.
Tell us the gate procedure
Gate queues are a cost line, not paperwork. A Houston site with a two-hour trailer queue is a more expensive delivery than one twice as far away with a clear dock — and if we know in advance, we schedule around it instead of absorbing it into the rate.
Say what is going the other way
Empty boxes, baled fiber, pallets — anything. A trailer that is paying in both directions costs roughly 40% less per direction, and we pass that through rather than pocketing it.
Order in trailer-sized increments
Half a trailer costs nearly the same as a full one, so the marginal boxes are close to free provided you have somewhere to put them. Under about 100 boxes, yard pickup or a scheduled lane beats LTL comfortably.
Ship knocked down
Flat-packed boxes ship roughly four times as densely as assembled ones. Assembled delivery only makes sense when boxes go straight into production the same shift.
Book against your dock hours
We schedule to your window, not ours. If you need a load staged before 7 AM, say so on the quote and we will stage it the night before.
Serving Houston — common questions
How quickly can you deliver to Houston?
Same day, most ZIPs. Deep-stock sizes are available for same-day pickup from the yard at 1050 E Richey Rd, Houston, TX 77073 if you would rather collect.
Do you buy used boxes in Houston?
Yes. Minimum for a dedicated pickup is roughly 100 boxes, fewer if we already run a route near you. Boxes must be dry; beyond that we grade on arrival and pay by category.
What does freight add per box?
It depends on quantity and whether the trailer pays in both directions. We quote landed cost — box price plus linehaul, fuel and accessorials — because a per-box price without freight attached answers a question your controller did not ask.
Can you collect baled fiber from Houston?
Yes, weighed on a certified scale with the ticket issued the same day. It also makes an excellent return leg for a delivery, which is how customers on this lane get the best per-box pricing.
Do you deliver outside your listed areas?
Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas on planned lanes. Past roughly 400 miles freight usually exceeds the value of the boxes, and we will say so rather than sell you a bad number.
