Used gaylord boxes, graded before you ever see them
Our core inventory and the reason most customers find us. Thousands of boxes on the floor at any time, every one of them stood up empty and checked against six criteria before it entered stock.

Why used, and when not to
Corrugated gets its strength from geometry — the arch of the flute between two liners — and geometry does not care about ink, labels, print bleed or scuffing. A Grade A used box has one prior fill, no cuts, square corners and a dry interior. For essentially every industrial dry-solids application it performs within a few percent of new, at roughly 35–55% of the price.
New is worth the premium in exactly three situations: direct food contact where the fiber is the contact surface, regulated packaging where the certification covers the box as a system, and shipments where the customer will judge you on the container.
The grades, and what they cost you
| Grade | Condition | Trips left | Typical use |
|---|---|---|---|
| A | One use, no cuts, square, dry | 3–5 | Outbound, resale, customer-facing |
| B | Up to two clean patched repairs | 2–3 | Internal WIP, collection, transfer |
| C | Multiple repairs, still self-standing | 1–2 | One-way scrap and debris moves |
Sizes we keep deep
- 48" × 40" × 36" — the default. Thousands on hand in 3-wall Grade A and B.
- 48" × 40" × 30" — for dense material that hits weight before volume.
- 48" × 40" × 42" and × 48" — for light bulky material where you buy height, not strength.
- 41" × 28" × 25" half gaylords — two per pallet, for weekly rather than monthly fill rates.
- 4-wall and 5-wall heavy duty — for e-scrap, aggregate and anything over 2,500 lb.
What comes with them
Lids, liners, pallets, corner boards and banding are all stocked and quoted alongside the boxes. Buying the pieces separately from three suppliers is how loads arrive incomplete — one line item, one truck, one delivery.
Used Gaylord Boxes — common questions
How do I know what grade I need?
If it leaves your building and a customer sees it, Grade A. If it stays inside, Grade B. If it is a one-way scrap move, Grade C. Our Grade Decoder walks the same logic with wall count and size included.
Can I buy a sample first?
Yes — come to the yard, or we will ship a single box so you can put your material in it before committing to a trailer.
Are the boxes clean inside?
Grade A and B are inspected for residue and odour and rejected if either is present. Grade C is sold as working boxes and may show staining. If your material is sensitive, say so and we will pull accordingly.
