Where should I start if I have never bought bulk boxes?
The Gaylord Box Guide, then the size chart. Between them you will know what footprint you need, what wall count the load calls for, and which grade is honest for your application.
Are these resources free, and do they ask for an email address?
All free, and none of them gate anything behind a form. Our advantage is a yard full of graded stock in Houston, not an information gap.
What is the difference between the guide, the FAQ and the articles?
The guide is the long read in order, the FAQ answers the questions that actually arrive in our inbox, and the articles go deep on one topic each. The glossary defines the vocabulary all three use.
Are the numbers here specific to the Gulf Coast?
Some of them deliberately are. Humidity, hurricane season and the ship channel resin trade change how corrugated behaves and what it costs here, and we flag it wherever it matters.
