Over-specified wall counts, Grade A boxes for material that never leaves your building, assembled delivery when knocked down would do. If your request has one of those in it, the quote will say so — selling someone a more expensive box than they need is a one-order strategy.
Quotes — common questions
How long does a quote take?
One business day, and usually a couple of hours during dock time. It arrives in writing with a current stock count attached, so you can forward it to purchasing without rewriting anything.
What information do you need for an accurate quote?
Quantity, the weight of one full box, stack height and dwell time, where the boxes are stored, who sees them, and your delivery postcode and dock hours. Anything missing gets assumed conservatively, which costs you money.
Does the quote include freight?
Yes. We quote landed cost — box price plus linehaul, fuel and accessorials — because a per-box price with freight left off answers a question your controller did not ask.
Is there a minimum order to request a quote?
No minimum to ask. For delivery the practical floor is one pallet; under about 100 boxes, yard pickup or a scheduled lane almost always beats LTL on landed cost.
Can I see a sample before committing to a load?
Yes. Collect one from the yard, or we will send a sample with a nearby delivery. On a first order we would rather you check a box on your own dock than take the grade on trust.
